What happened to swallow-my......

The site was very succesful, we had over 400+ members & would update at least 3 times per week, which included
videos, photos & webshows. In May 2001 the Metropolitan Police, Obscene publications unit bust all 3 of us and so
began a year & a half of not knowing what the crown was going to do! In the end they decided to prosecute us under the
"Obscene publications act". Let me talk about this act for those who think they know better.
It is a catch all act left to the jury to decide if the offending material is LIKELY to corrupt & deprave any individual
having relevant regard to all available information. Notice how I have placed the word liekly in italics.

Likely is NOW a crime in the UK!!!! Yes read again...likely is a crime in the UK. They do NOT specify how likely, just likely.
So according to my way of thinking & that of 1000's of others. If you buy a kitchen knife..you are likely to stab someone.
Buy a car capable of doing more than 70MPH, you are likely to break the speed limit...yet I don't see all these LIKELY
people in court & in prison???? So if what the prosecution said is true, then the leaders of the military, religion, police
etc are corrupt & depraved...there is NO way around that, the crown proved it so. Yes these were the sort of people
who made up the membership of swallow-my.com.

All 3 of us were succesfully prosecuted for producing & distributing obscene material...a conspiracy!
Now let me go further..why weren't the police, the jury, the judge, the prosecutor and court recorders
corrupt & depraved after watching all our material in a 2 week crown court trial on a 20ft x 10ft screen?
It was an open court & minors would visit the public gallery during our trial..I'm baffled by the UK's lack
of protecting these people from obscene material!!!

Now before I get emails saying the usual "Host it abroad"...it already was. The website was hosted by cavecreek
in Pheonix, AZ, USA. The billing was also by their sister company CCBILL, yet the material was produced here
in the UK & that's why we fell foul...it was receivable here in the UK as well. So if you live elsewhere in Europe
you can safely produce Obscene material, free from court action in the UK...just that the UK is biased against UK citizens.
